COMPOSITION / CONTENT

Cendo Fenicol Eye Ointment
Each gram Cendo Fenicol containing chloramphenicol 1%.
Cendo Fenicol Eye Drops
Each 1 ml Cendo Fenicol containing chloramphenicol 1%.

PHARMACOLOGY (HOW DRUGS)
Cendo Fenicol is eyedrops containing the antibiotic chloramphenicol. Antibiotic chloramphenicol has bacteriostatic and bactericidal effect against sensitive microorganisms. Antibakterialnya activities include bacteria: Escherichia coli, Haemophilus influenzae, Staphylococcus aureus, and Streptococcus hemolyticus. Chloramphenicol works by inhibiting protein synthesis at the ribosomal 50S subunit binds.

INDICATIONS / USE
Fenicol Cendo indications are:
Konjungtivits,
Blepharitis,
Keratitis,
Keratoconjunctivitis,
Dacryocystitis.

CONTRAINDICATION
Cendo Fenicol should not be given to patients who are hypersensitive or allergic to chloramphenicol.

DOSAGE AND RULES FOR USE
Ask your doctor about the dosage and rules of use Cendo Fenicol. The usual dose given is: 2 drops every 3 hours or more on the infected eye.

SIDE EFFECTS
Chloramphenicol side effects that can occur:
Hypersensitivity or allergic reactions may occur in rare cases.
Hypoplasia of the bone marrow, including aplastic anemia.
Superinfection can occur.

WARNING AND CAUTION
Improper use of antibiotics or long term can lead to excessive growth of microorganisms insensitive.
